How about this and do any kind of motor package you like or can afford. Good in rough, fast and unique. Slam a 400R or some badass twins on the back. One of a kind all the way!

Where will you find a clean X for 10k? Those babies are getting tough to hunt down.

Don't worry, you won't be the first! There are only two options if you want to stay in your budget and go 100 mph. Buy the Tuff or buy the Nordic. They are both waiting for you and you have until first day of Spring to empty your wallet! Gives you one week.

Mark you had a super clean super nice 22 Progression, all you needed was some motor work and setup for a better number. As far as a 30k 100mph rough water boat I only see a cat as an option. I've owned 2 100mph + 21s, 1 cat and 1 v-bottom and hands down the cat ran better in rough and easier to get to 100. Both about the same price. Now on the other hand they both handled a lot different so I reccomend going for a ride in anything you are looking at.

Not only that, in fairness, when I bought my 24 I really was trying to find a 22, in talking to kevin after owning my 24 he said the 24 wasn't much faster in the rough than the 22. So the 22 was pretty much faster in almost all water conditions until it got to a certain point where you weren't running wide open anymore anyway, only advantage to the 24 was additional space and a cuddy if you bought one so equipped. At least that's what I gathered from the conversation.
I do not personally have experience comparing the two, but this is what kevin said a decade ago on the phone one day.
I'm struggling to understand and grasp the goal here at this point. The P-22 is one of the fastest and best overall 22 foot boats out there, and quite unique. If you want to go faster consistently you'll need to go cat.
The TUFF's are beautiful, and slightly faster, but I personally feel you'll give up a little ride in the rough, whether that is 1% or 10% or 25% I can't comment, but I think you will give up something. You'll pretty much be buying what you just sold.
Same with any other SOB V-Hull in that range. You'll gain or give up a little something here or there but you'll basically own the same boat.
I had a 24LD, and I thought I wanted "faster" so I bought a Newer Vegas XT, while it was faster than my progression, as mentioned previously in this thread, going from an every day 78-80 with the occasional 85 in perfrect conditions (24LD) to the Vegas and having a consistent 80-85 with the occasional clip above that, didn't really add much. Especially considering how many days I became limited in boating in general due to the Vegas' inability to ride in rough water at all.
I kicked it around and around and around and decided I enjoy being on the water more than I enjoy fighting for 90, 95, or 100. So I bought "a big dumb slow boat" (288 Sunsation with a 600sci that should see 75 on the regular). I'll never be limited in days on the water, or at least days I want to be on the water. I'll be able to go fast and I'll also be able to sleep on the boat.
My search started with a 24-27 Activator, Pantera (slow, heavy in comparison), or progression in mind. I would have really liked to find another progression, but it didn't happen. I also went after some kryptonites, unfortunately they didn't pan out for various reasons (wife wanted cabin and swim platform)
I think at this point if you want to go faster, don't want to lose boating days with a lighter boat (allison, hydrostream, stv, etc) a skater 21 or 24 makes a lot of sense. There used to be a guy on here with a 24/300x combo that seemed to run pretty well. Put a 300-400R on a skater and you've got a nice set up.
Or, consider trying to find a sterndrive progression in a 24LD. I think it was Laster? had one that was running real close to 100 with not all that aggressive of a motor.

I believe there is a super clean i/o 24 Progression for sale here in NY. And I can agree with Moator with being able to boat more then seeing the 100 in perfect conditions. That why I went to my 30 Activator, 100 in any condition and can sleep in it with a definite wow factor pulling in anywhere with a blown big block.
