    Lets talk oddball/special SOB boats

Im in the market for a new boat, I just sold a 22 progression with a 300xs boat ran 88 all day everyday, 94 best day of its life. It just didn't satisfy my urge. I need to go faster. So im back in the market.

This time around I want to find an oddball or special built boat. Im trying to find a 21'-24' SOB or small cat that will run 100mph and still be able to run in some snotty water like the progression did. I cant afford a new boat or I would just have one built. Below ill name a few boats that come to mind any tips would be great.

Pretty much any intimidator- The red one comes to mind, they just seem alittle to light to be able to run in rough water

The baby blue progression- was a fast boat until it got its bad rep

Kevlar 22 progression- I know of one last I hurd it went to Bermuda

20' tuff- there was one that went 110 or something but that was with a **** ton of setback IDK how that would run even if I could find it.

    24 Tuff- cant afford

21 skater- I saw one awhile back that was the last one ever made and its build light and strong. Problem is I don't want to spend 35k on a 25 year old boat. Love the 21 skaters and knockoffs.

Any other oddball/rare/special or just plain badass boats out there

22 Kevlar velocity with twin 260s- boat got sold and is running class 7 now

new style 21 superboat- I don't think its that fast though

twin engine cats- most of the time they are out of my price range or have 2.5s which I don't want. captain steves old 21 trick used to have twin 250s on it. Loved that boat.

you'd be hard pressed to find anything faster than a tuff. What 24 can break 105 with a 300xs. Sorry missed your budget. Would love a tuff 28 myself but it's wayyyy out of the budget. I'm actually getting frustrated I've been in the market for a second boat for almost a year and a half. Sad to say our hobby is slowly dying and available hulls are getting harder and harder to find

Yup I love the IO 28 tuff with the #6 that ran at LOTO shootout. But let’s not turn this into a tuff Debate because I can’t afford one, unless it’s a 20’

There is no magic 21 foot boat out there. If you want a rough water boat you must go longer......

One cat hull that I think could fit that scenario is the Wicked Cat. Here is their site and a pic. They might have info on a used hull or the new hulls aren't too pricey.

I was looking into the LCB wicked boats, I saw they made a canopy boat that really caught my eye.

Have had a couple of 21 Tricks and an American Offshore 26 cat. None of them have come close to what this boat does!
