    There is a ladder that hangs over the side and has flip out pads stowed under the bow. I agree steps would have been nice when we were kids instead of having our arms ripped out of their sockets lol...My much newer 79' Nautique has a nice platform.

    At the end of my street where I grew up was the Erie barge canal, Sweeny Street, during WW2 they quit building pleasure boats and built what ever the US Coast Guard and Navy wanted, .

    Have had a Challenger for 20 years
    On rough water you wonder why you still have it.
    But on smooth water its awsome.
    With the flat bottom its on plane instantly but also hard on your back.
    But it is such a different looking boat it really gets the looks.
    Also have a CT15 and with the full tunnel it likes the rough water but not much room for a cooler
