There were 16 bit and 32 bit ECM's on these motors so also be sure to know which you have.

It would just be nice for someone to comment "this is what you do" because they have the kit, etc...

Hopefully by the end of the summer I can have some answers. Took a while but myself and a friend have figured out all the channels jn the ECU and will be doing some data logging and tuning later this summer. Work has both of us too busy unfortunately.
Also hoping to delete the 4 cylinder idle and the neutral start switch setup. Would be nice to be able to start it in gear when j want to.

There mapping difference between the different ECU's when you compare them. But haven't dove into what the actual differences are yet.

Transfers open a little later at an average of 119.5* all over the place ranging from 118.5 to 120.5 from cylinder to cylinder. The exhaust done just as I thought it would, opens at average of 92.75* ranging from 92.5 to 93 with average blowdown at 24.75. It’s going to get cleaned up and blue printed to ex chamfers open @ 89*, port open @92.5*, boosters @ 117* giving it a blowdown of 24.5 across the board and transfers open 2* later at 119* (one port with open @118.5 #4 lower transfer. And Btw Chaz, another set of heads coming your way
Do you think this same timing would work on a 2.6 liter? does the displacement difference matter?

Do you know what the timing specs are now on the 2.6? I haven’t done one yet to know. If the numbers and blowdown are similar it will tell us a lot about the design of the motor and if it will work.I think they are similar, but not 100% sure to say yay or nay. If ya can get the numbers off the 2.6, we can go from there.

It's still a good running motor, but low on compression across the board, 102 - 110. I'll be tearing it down this winter. Want to get a little more out of it.

I'd be interested to see what's going on inside the 2.6 as well re: port layout.
I worked a 85' v4. Very similar exhaust port specs but had more blow down than my 225 HPDI and less transfer area.
