Mercury DFI oil ?
Can I use DFI in my HPDI? I buy Mercury DFI in bulk and just got a 250 HPDI some had posted you can not use DFI in a EFI or a HPDI as this oil will not.mix with gas it is a TCW 3 just like any other name brand 2 smoke oil its good oil I dont mind the extra cost but sure dont wanta blow the engine. TIA

Some merc dfi has cleaners in it. Some don’t.
Typicaly if the standard is met it will work.
Mer doesnt mix with fuel on optimax except what little blows blows through the front. If your hpdi ect premixes it might not blend well.
Thats the extent I know; but but I have used off brand twc-3 in both opti and hpdi and rides without issue.

The HPDI dose mix in the VST as well as several other injection points I will just use Premium plus. Thx
