My older stock Promax’s read about 136 to 140. The few new blocks I built read higher for some reason.They may have slightly lower exhaust port Heights

Mark, when you rebuild those powerheads, do you reuse the rod bolts, or are they new? I know you use new pistons, and bearings was just wondering about the rod bolts. Thanks

I have done it both ways....never had a used rod bolt failure, so I will only put new ones in if the old ones are in poor condition. I do use only new ones on the nic motors.
