His wake went over my bow, sank me in 3 minutes and threw everyone out of the boat. Totaled it 1 month after paying it off. **** those boats.Click image for larger version.

For the sake of all that is good, and my sanity, tell the wakeboat driver is serving life in a Siberian prison camp ?

Government intervention, butthead boaters.....who is the lesser of the two eveils?

I have always said that laws are made because of stupid people. As much as I hate to see government intervention, I also know it's necessary because many people have zero common sense and even less respect for others. I grew up here in South Florida, we went to Elliott Key pretty much every weekend while I was growing up. The the Mariel boatlift came along.... many cubans soon flooded the area and started fishing. Now before they showed up, we would have fish fry's athe the Elliott key marina.... snapper, grouper, dolphin, lobster.... you name it all of leagal size and usually good size fish. The Marielitos' came along and they would keep anything they caught... they would throw a hundred 6" fish on the grill, under sized lobster, you name it. So now... we have laws down there pretty much saying you can't fish there anymore.

People are selfish, arrogant buttheads and they push the limits until the government has to step in............

IF you are on a creek or other enclosed area off the main lake they seem to gravitate there for the protected water, devastating the shoreline and docked boats try this. Pull alongside the offending boat and take its picture and note its number. When they ask why politely tell them that you are gathering info for the owners association's lawsuit involving excessive wake damages in that area. You ARE legally liable for any damages caused by your wake. It may at least drive them somewhere else.

They could start by banning the identical mashups they all play.
I don't know which is more offensive a 40+year old man on a bicycle in a spandex cycling suit or the wake-boat song list.

    Completely of topic.

Reminds me of a couple of funny stories I’ll share. No names mentioned!

A lake in Northern California had a spot where boats would gather and occasionally some boats would have those hand held water cannons. So we are idling in and about six or so of them pop up in a boat they were hiding in and start shooting water at us. Without missing a beat circled the boat so the motor was now facing them, trimmed up and goosed it a few times. They never saw it coming and completely pelted them with water from the prop. Pelted is the correct word as that water is coming at you hard.

A river we boat on has a steel grate bridge. This part of the river is tidal so at times the water is pretty close to the bridge. Couple of boats were going under the bridge on plane. Nothing was planned or said but both boats trimmed way up and goosed it just when a convertible with the top down was crossing the bridge. Timing was perfect and can only imagine the reaction of the people in the car that never saw it coming.

Again no names but ahh those younger days! I’m sure some people on here will know these two locations and smile!

How awesome would it be to circle a wakeboard boat that is just sitting still with about six outboard boats, trim the motors up, and bury them from all sides. I think that would be hilarious.

If the sacred cow ( west indies manatee ) became extinct @ midnight. Do you think we would have more or less " manatee idle zone " areas of tidal, navigable, waterways allocated every year ???

    Fun axe'd
    where the hell is Vermont?

It's where the libbys come from that move next door, run for office, raise your property tax's, tell ya to slow down on "their" waterways, how your fence has to look, when you can put your garbage cans out, etc.

Chaz = don't mind getting a police escort out of the county commission meetings. I've been a motorpool vehicle vendor with the S.O. for 28 years ...
