Dad was a dedicated bolt-gun builder, but he retired a few months ago. There are endless combos with an AR, and they can have very respectable accuracy too.

Hog movement a bit weird this year at my place due to bumper crop of acorns lots of rain and plenty of brouse ... I’ve killed a few lone adolescent boars but haven observed the huge groups (20-30) this year like normal , I have 1 lone older boar at one of my spots from 8 to 9 pm , I could make the 4 mile drive to my nearest stand and smoke his butt if it would quit raining .
My new PSA AR 15 6.5 Grendel is cycling great was going to site it in today just to lazy and too much JSRE work , if I get a break in the action and weather will report on its performance !!

We have a hog problem in Georgia too. When I was a kid they only inhabited the barrier islands, river swamps and remote mountains. We used to catch them with dogs but I'm to old for that now.We have them in almost every county in the state now. I still see as many as 30 hogs on the marsh flats while I'm fishing in the Paramount or cruising in the V21.
