yea, the sportjet run beefy splines. from my understanding they would break the std splines, so mercury made different cranks. the rest of the power head is mostly just a std outboard power head.

Possible parts motor with crank for ya. If add is legit & if internals are still good, then this would be a killer deal for that price.

Thanks for the add, I've been trying to get a hold of him, 100 for a block is cheap. Be worth a drive to see what it is.
