Mercury Chopper II 14.5 x 28 Steve Smith Offshore Cut

This prop was sold to me as a Steve Smith Offshore Cut. I'm not sure how to verify it, do the Steve Smith props have any stampings on them? If anyone wants additional pics, I can make them and send them to you.
The prop is in excellent condition. Flo Torq hub system (hub not included).

    I ran it on a Piranha Espada 16ft v-hull, not exactly a high performance hull, with a 2.0 135 V6.

It ran 69 mph @ 6300 RPM. It didn't have enough lift for my boat. Didn't seem to really hook up, which may explain the relatively high slip of 17%.

I purchased 3 props from Steve and none of them have any markings identifying his work.
He had 2 cuts that look very similar, Offshore and a Dunamis. Both work very well on lighter set ups.
I believe the Offshore provided a little more lift the Dunamis not so much.
I have both in a 24p and the Dunamis was slightly quicker and faster on my Baker.
I wish he was still cutting props. Great guy to work with

I have no experience with such a boat/motor combo so I would't know, maybe someone will chime in that can give you some advice.

Talked to Steve Smith yesterday, he's finally getting settled into his new place and is starting to work a little on props again, said he will be getting back to everyone on scream and fly shortly

If it dosent have enough lift for a 16ft bote I doubt its gonna lift a 20ft, I wanted the prop to til I read not enough lift , , then again a big jackplate may b what it needed.

On other hand if u have a lighter hull , like a stream it will have plenty lift and turn sum serious rpm , great looking prop , and glws,

I agree, however my 16ft boat has quite a large hook by design. I really need lift to make to boat perform properly. A Hoss Hyperdrive 4 blade performs really well on my setup and so does a TXP OT4. I can imagine it would perform well on a light stream.

I think the boat will ride very wet because of the lack of lift. I think this prop is really for light hulls that don't need a lot of lift.
