2000 300PM Oil removal questions.

Hey guys first post on here, and i have looked and looked and while finding information about removing the oil injection on these 3.0l's i can't find a couple small pieces of information and cannot get ahold of anybody to help.
i would like to remove the injection off this motor and i know that the oil pump slides out and there is a brass bushing in there that supposed to come out along with the driveshaft. My question is where are these "black boxes" that everybody says to remove and also do you have to mess with the timing after removing the oil inj.?

The removal of the pump sounds simple and i have took the throttle linkages off so i have a good look at the pump itself. My main concern is what do i need to pull out and what do i do with the elec. and the timing... if anything?

Any help or tips are greatly appreciated. Thanks in Advance!!

3L doesn't have black boxes and timing in not adjustable as it is set in ecu.
