You are welcome to try anything that I have. That hull being as light as it is might like a 3 blade cleaver and touch more height as well. It takes time and testing to get comfortable- just continue to work the process slowly, monitor your water pressure and be safe.

Thanks for the reply and appreciate the lend opportunity Joe. Cleavers are another option - I will try this ET and see what it produces and hopefully moves me forward and I will monitor pressure and see if it allows me to move another hole upwards . All I know it wasn' great at level with pad and showed I believe just that with the 28 on the back - it was like a chine walk on a v pad or when going through small wakes laterally - just sponson to sponson - left to right in a reasonable manner . I think it was riding the sporty . Don' have enough experience but the sporty isn' tiny .

I have a 250 pro xs on a 20’ eliminator tunnel. I have a 1.75 gear case with the sport master lower. I have about 14” of total set back and the boat came with a 15x30 performer bc4 4 blade. I can take my wife and 3 kids with plenty power getting on plane. Top speed by myself is 86 but the big issue is putting a 200 lb passenger in I top out at 72. I’m trying a 3 blade cleaver this week so I can let you know.

Should be a good comparison. Yes post It up how the effort works out . Supposed to lift stern and of course top end . I believe it will set - trimmed more neutral . Interested. . Joe Perog mentioned exacly where you r heading . Do you pitch up a bit with the cleavers or stay similarly in numbers .

I wanted a 32 or 34 but all I can find used is a 30. So we’ll see I’ll post the numbers Friday. Unless I have a good reason to keep it I’ll sell my 4 blade. Every thing I see even on bass boats the 3 blades better. Mercury and herring make a 5 blade outboard cleaver mercury says 10-12 mph more (hard to believe). Another good one is the mercury max 5 but ... expensive

Lets see what you find - i wasnt aware that a 5 blade could be turned effectively on a 2 stroke - i was under the impression it was 4 stroke torque that allowed them to shine . You guys down south will know better just by whats being used . Joe and others talk 4 blades just being kinder to the bearings of the lower with a sacrifice of a few clicks. Reasonable thinking . All out I hear 3 blade. Talk it up hopefully people jump in on the 5 blade . I believe 5 blade is CNC and Randy Corson was saying I believe Ron Hill is providing some similar props for his current setups and he is also in the know of what is working - but he is powering with new 4 stroke stuff - 100 is slow to that group . Back to reallity let' see what you learn safely .I believe the speed claim is probably true and I suspect proven but on what hull and power. Thinking 4 stroke new offerings.

Well what everyone told me was right the 3 blade cleaver ran almost 5 mph slower, slipped so bad getting on plane I hit the Rev limiter plus it took way longer to hit top speed. So for me the performance propeller bc4 has been the best, hill propeller makes an eagle 4 that's nearly the same for 600 new. They also make a 5 blade cleaver thats 2kbut I'd love to try it. Call me if you have questions Randy 918.382.8907

I had high hopes I weighed my hull on the cat scales and it came in at 1108 without the 505lb engine. I’m going to try a performance propeller drag 5 and see what happens

Personally you might call Rick and he may enlighten you - since it' pretty much what your run ing . He might take a minute with you but I have heard BB blaster is a Merc cut . I am not certain but it would be a conversation to be had - liked the way you stacked the props to show or better understand the cut and profile . There is much to be understood on props/ standard ET -Chopper- what works and doesn' . Like the cleavers. . As far as you weighing in at 1100 , at least you know your aprox, Joe Perog stated - a strong solid layup is far superior running vs a light layup for drags and is fragile - be satisfied you have a great hull that tracks well and is predicable .The 21 is a beautifull piece and the advertised one is super nice in my opinion. Thanks
