what is your new motor that the smartcraft wont work on? Do you know what version the smartcraft is? and how much for it?

It’s a 00 225 efi motor, Guy at boat shop said he called mercury and it won’t work on it. I will have to check what version it is tonight, asking 100 bucks

Pretty sure it will work on your motor. Was looking at 225x before and it’s was compatible for smart craft. I’m sure the 300x would be be too
