WTB 2.5xs opti
Looking for a 2.5xs optimax. This is the motor that was built in limited quantity for the 2005 model year. It is a 2.5 optimax power head with an exhaust plate that converts to a 3L mid and case the crank also has 3L driveshaft splines. They didn't produce or sell a lot of them due to the slight increase in weight.

I know 2 people that have them i will ask if they want to sell but i doubt it they like the power and unreal mpg but it never hurts to check

2.5L powerhead rated at 225hp @ 6750rpm
it was mounted on a 3L mid and gearcase

2.5XS is a needle in a haystack for sure with it being 2005 only. I seem to remember about 237hp on a dyno pull back in the day.
