    **PUBLIC SERVICE MESSAGE**

There has been a great deal of hysteria this year about lake levels by several candy asses.

For the record, levels will be about the same as 2017.

The lake is being drawn down SLOWLY by order of the bunny and by Thursday the campground ramp will be perfectly usable. It actually is right now but by later next week you won't have to worry about getting your toes wet and damaging your nail polish.

If you did not attend in 2017 to witness the lake height then shame on you. Nobody drowned.

That is all.....except....THE ROMP IS NOT FOR SISSIES!!

No hysteria here. It's not abnormally high, but it is pretty full .

    The voice of experience.

The hysteria is from non locals who have not spent 14,000,000 hours studying weather, water levels, rainfall, snow depth, reservoir pool depth, paths of near asteroid hits, geological shifts, and how much can a bunny crap in 24 hours.

It just drives me nuts that people cancel plans and miss a great time because they think conditions will be "bad".

Just an advisory, the lake has been unusually high and we've had a ton of rain this year. There is a lot of debris out there. Here's an entire tree someone found near Northville. There are reports of partially submerged hazards as well. I would suggest taking it slow and scoping out an area before you go ripping around. Rocky may have better intel than I do about what's out there...

Bunny beware - there are reports yesterday that someone found a large ball python on Sand Island - how it got there, no one seems to know. Never know what you're going to come across at the lake...
