    West systems?

I have a boarding ladder, couple of screws loose, didn’t want water getting in when a wave comes up on the swim platform. I pulled the ladder now I have 6 holes I want to fill and drill to tighten ladder. The west systems comes in and easy tube to inject in the holes. What do you guys think? Recommendations on something better?

Are you planning on using the same holes again?

West or any epoxy, for that matter is strong as hell when mixed with glass, but by itself offer little strength. If your new screws are going to bite into good glass, and you just want to seal it well. I would recommend 3M 5200 as long as you don't plan to remove it anytime soon.Comes in black, white, and grey. If you use West,at least put in some Cabosil to make a paste, but it won't hold a lot and will be brittle.

I think you mean West 6/10 thickened epoxy.
Will work well for filling and re-drilling for new screws.

That is what I ended up doing, worked out great. Ladder is solid now. I keep the boat in an airplane hanger so all the little BS is easy to take care off. All the big stuff will be done at Fullers Marine & Machine cause I don't want to blow it up or break down.
