BTW they raped me on freight $19.00+ to ship a less than 1 lb total shipped from Va. to Texas this better work total $38.00 for a $19.00 magazine ??? I ship every day this should be shipped in a small flat rate box with 2nd day service for < $7.00.

WTF man, you dangle the carrot in front of this jackass and then you don't explain who is selling the magazines???? I have a few ARs and one is a 6.5 Grendel, I have probably ran a mag thru it and it runs ok, but a couple mags in the case that will fix problems before they happen will be good. So, give up the name...... please.

Well I’m a happy camper emailed a complaint to company I bought the magazine from and low and behold he agreed the freight was rape and reduced the freight from $19.50 to $8.00 , now if I had not complained UPS would have stuck it to me , always take the time to ask questions about services, products and shipping sometimes your wallet will thank you !!!

Last round in the magazine is the round to adjust the gas block for. Not as much spring assist as previous rounds to help it. Happy hunting Jay.

In all this, the only thing that I found different in the magazine's was the follower and maybe spring. The plastic magazines have thicker walls so internal dimensions are smaller. They will work, but if you stuff to many rounds in them, they swell so they won't fit in the magwell. Guys have modified the follower and cut the springs to lessen the tension and get more in. Im not sure what the differences in the 6.5 specific mags are, but can't be much. Not too much in them, and they all have to fit in the lower. I think the feed lips can be a issue. The plastic mags flex a little, the steel ones don't. So if the angle of feeding isn't right that can cause issues. All in all they are really simple guns, but there are a few things that need to be right to have it run. They need to be "tuned" right. I'm sure it will all turn out.

I contacted Alexander Arms several years ago and asked if the 6.5 Grendel follower in a standard AR15 mag would work, they told me no. I've never tried it to see if it's true, I took them at their word.

On the follower is a diff shape I think. People take off material to modify a 5.56 follower to a 6.5 but not sure.
