What octane to run with 19cc heads

Just wondering what octane I should run with 19cc domes, engine is a 260 with stock deck heights, its has been ported to drag specs with geiger tec 19cc domes. Thanks for any input.

This kinda loaded question. But not know your exact style of boating. 110vp or 112 sunco is plenty. Timing set a 25 degrees You want have a problem if your squish is right

This will be my drag motor, will be racing 800ft, 25° of timing, running VP c12 would be out of the question?

Always start ahead of the game and work backwards to what the motor wants. It is far less expensive that way.

VP 112 is plenty of octane. Run your timing at 25 degrees

. C12 is a great fuel. You will be plenty safe. If your just drag racing You can creep up on your timing possibly as well. But u need to pay attention to your tune

If your drag racing I’d also make sure your fuel system can support that if you haven’t already addressed that

I'm running a big Bush pump, 56lb reg, brucato box with an A6 tune, steamwheel up front and dual egts to monitor temps aswell, I wont be running these domes for lake use, 800 ft only.

I dont see a VP112 on the fuel list for VP, to confirm, I can run c12 or do I need c16? 108 vs 120 octane

Vp doesn’t make 112. C12 Is the number. The standard vp110 will also be safe. I’d suggest a little more pump than the Bosch for drag

I’m apparently not up on VP’s race gas offerings. I thought they had a basic 112 like Sunoco has. Either way 110-112 octane is enough
