I needed the low water pickup. Even with it i still went thru a waterpump every event i raced at due to the boat was always out of the water. Dont think it slowed me down at all.

True that. I would run it in 1000ft drags. Didnt think 76mph was too bad for a 11.5ft boat in that short of a run.

How many three cylinders have you had that ran 76mph? Asking for a friend.

    My 15 ft MFG Tri-Hull had a 75 Stinger 1976, I think it did 125mph

Most boats that run 76MPH don't need a cone, FACT, with your set up I understand you need water.

Paul, you still have the crossflow on the Allison.

Yes I was reading it.... and I think the 3 cly is a good choice as it has good power.... the old 1000 is a classic.... let it rest till ya need it. Bobs cones are cool looking and add 50 mph. Over that 76 MPH glass speed ceiling...... Really. What is better is a Nitro case.....smaller frontal area. Best thing you can do is Try the boat out and see if you like it..... Bounce instead of chine walk....

Looks good, and will increase your top end roughly by 5 mph depending on your setup, motor Height, and setback, not to mention surface props

That fridge is slow goings..Figured I’d just replace everything on it so it’s going to be my slow project.
I have sanded it down and I’m about to rebuild the dash..between all my other projects and what I call a job everything is slowwww
