    If that was an old side oiler, someone would have snatched it out of there no matter the condition. Dayum, good eye though. That "half a valve cover rail" gives them away fo~sho ..

    The ports look like a 332 - 352, while this gasket fits the taller 390-427-428 ports.



    They had some issues .. but the 428 tunnel port heads were well ahead of their time ..

    Seeing that boat reminds me of when i was in high school.
    1968 in auto shop the teacher was a boat guy.
    One day a truck pulled up and we unloaded a new bare hondo hull.
    Next day a truck load of steel showed up within a week he had hand built a trailer.
    More parts the next week.
    Then a Holman and Moody truck showed up we unloaded a brand new 427 cammer.
    He got it all set up with dry headers.
    Got to go for a couple of rides as i remember tab all the way down hammer it start bringing the tab up and hang on.
    There is nothing like an inboard!!!!!!
