    Mike , sharpeye is the perfect handle for you ..

    Yes , the starboard side is higher and the tuner "should" be shorter on that side.
    My guess would be :
    Facing back rather than forward to fit inside of a stock can was a priority.
    Bolting up against a thin flat plate rather than a stock adapter that has a sweeping forward set of runners , then back , kept a "kink" out of the change of direction.
    Putting a B+J two speed in the confines of such a small space left little room for anything else.
    Proof positive that when you light that wire hooked to a nitrous bottle , the concept of equal length headers , zoomie , tuner , chamber's , etc. goes right out the window.

    That one was hiding in plain sight .. again .. great catch !
