Supposedly it allowed you to trim the motor up far enough to be completely out of the water. The OMC engineers somehow forgot about waves, wakes, salt air, etc. Good thing they got everything else they touched right! Yea, it was an awesome idea. Originally Posted by FUJIMO

Steering, setback bracket, and engine all built into one unit and the ability to mount to a completely flat, y’all transom. Execution and probably marketing were poor. I can see where it had it’s place, though.
