    1.87 to 1.62

    Switching from 1.87 7500rpm 2.5L 330 hp 260 with a 14.5x24 drag 4 to a 1.62 3.2 optimax same hp and 6800 Rpm guessing a 14.5x 28?

The 1.62 will run the same speed as the 1.87 but 1000rpm less. So for example if 1.87 runs 80 at 7500 the 1.62 should run 80 at 6500.

The big big block will usually go faster if you load it down with more prop. Peak power is in the low 6s unlike the 2.5 mid 7k.
