In search of 2003/2006 GMC Yucon XL or Suburban XL. Must be rust free. Top dollar paid for a good one.

It's a great riding truck, put a new set of Bilsteins in it and new BFGs and golden. I think they ride better than the 1/2 2wd, particularly with a few passengers gear and a trailer. The 1/2 tons are wallowy and unsure in comparison. I wouldn't even consider a 2wd, and by the age probably sagging front and rear. Bigger brakes on the big one as well. Nothing like a big burb 4wd 2500 with good tires in the worst weather. First time you're in a real winter night you'll see there really is no other. Don't forget the yearly oil spray rust proofing and good mud flaps.

I`m with FMP on the 2500. Had both and 1500s definitely feel wallowy in comparison. I wish you could get a burb HD with a duramax
