can't bleed trim ant tilt little help please

trim and tilt stopped working. the plastic relief valve head broken. I drilled plastic out as best I could and used dap to clean out threads. Put in stainless bolt in place of nylon plug. Replaced both relays but ended up replacing motor. All went well and motor runs fine but I can not get the hydraulic to bleed. The unit is a 1999 pro max style. Two arm two wire unit that is located between the clamp (not remote). Anyone have any idea how to bleed this unit? Thanks in advance for any assistance guys.

    have fun be safe

looked at tube video and it shows arms need to be extended to bleed. System will not extend arms. How do I get them extended?

The plastic relief valve is long and has 3 or so O rings to direct the oil... a SS bolt has a flat end..... not telling the oil where to go.... Most drill jobs mess the O ring seats...

I had a devil of a time getting an old plastic relief valve out of mine. Tried a few different methods; one of them drilling it out. I messed it up. The valves are kind of expensive, but if you didn't mess up the unit drilling it then a new relief valve may allow it to work again.

I luckily ended up getting a whole (used) unit in good shape for a pretty good price, but was not happy about messing up that unit.
