In these applications where you surface the props, they will fatigue over time. The only prop I have that has lived as long as I have owned it is a 29 RE3 that I sent off and had cryo treated before putting it on the boat. I ran that prop exclusively for about 2 years and it is still perfect. I bought numerous used props and generally got about 1 season out of each one. I bought a new 27 RE3 last year and had Mazco/R&R blueprint it and ship it off for cryo as well. That will likely be my go-to prop once the boat goes back together. I also bought another 27 and a 28 last month...will probably have those sent out for cryo as well.

Thanks Keith didnt realize that! I have always been used to my props on my previous I/O's. My first high end Outboard. I will just grab one new then once I find the sweet spot. Thanks again!

Have a RE 4 blade 26 and a Hoss 3 blade 28 small shaft both cherry you can try them out at Long Beach if you like not sure what they are worth? Im in H-B
