2.5 260 parts

Goodmorning all, ( on the west coast )

looking for the rubber cowling closures for a 2.5 260 cowling as well as a new drag pin and mount for the top of the cowl. Any info on these parts would be greatly appreciated.

NAPA Auto parts carries the rubber cowl latches/bungees. Go to the NAPA website and search for “rubber hood latch” and you’ll find them. I assume they’re the same size as I know guys on this site have used them successfully.

The top cowl mounting pin and bracket assembly comes up for sale on this website all the time. I think a lot of guys remove this piece and run without it so they seem to be available from time to time. If you use the search function under the “Miscellaneous Parts” for sale section of this site, you’ll probably find one that has been listed for sale and is still available.

Thanks for the info!! I may have misspoke but I neeed the grommet and insert that is riveted to the top of the cowling. Not having much luck finding them.
