I ran a friends 16 Allison with a T-II in the late 80s, built as inspired by Jim Hunt's 16 Allison with a tunnel boat cowling we saw at the 1975 Nationals in Miami. Same colors and all, just no cowl. Boat was a blast to drive until one day I got it too high and found out how little props mean little effect with down trim....I was leaning up over the steering wheel with one hand on the deck when it came back down! Got my attention!
