    Awesome!!! Welcome back!!!

FYI, I had agriculture as a major in college. I had to take several classes with the nurses... Too bad I didn't land one...

Anyway... Microbiology... and the lab. Right hand latex glove inoculated with E. coli between finger and thumb, then passed through 4 people. The first shook the second, the second the third, and the third the fourth. Petri dish with media in an incubator grew a culture.

    WASH YOUR DAMN HANDS!!!

Glad to see you got someone in to grab the bull by the horns and chase down the antibiotic. I almost lost my son when he was 15 months old-just because you are in the hospital does not mean that you are in the right place. There were 11 kids quarantined and after the 2nd boy passed away my son was pulled from there and took a helicopter ride from Michigan to Rockford Minnesota's mayo clinic pediatric center. They had him sorted out in and discharged within 3 days after being under the care of another hospital for the previous 9 days. I learned right then that the best is where you need to be if you don't see immediate progress.

Glad that you are okay and back on the charge-

    Joe

Didn't follow aseptic techniques. I think about that every time I'm eating out.

You know it. This was on purpose for the experiment in the lab of course. I was a bit hasty in my post, I forgot to add the part, the swab of the glove of the fourth person grew an E. coli culture. Amazing how it can pass like that. I have a certain regiment for using public bathrooms!!! Microbiology ruined me!!! LOL!!!

BTW, I heard some where that the touch screens at Mickey D's tested did the same thing!!! A swab grew an E. coli culture! Why I don't eat fast food if I can help it!
