You heard correct. No different than Darris, same fear of liability. Hard to blame them, given today's penchant for lawsuits and reluctance to accept responsibility. The "Contzen" XTs are better boats than their predecessors. Too bad they never got a good start.

IMO people riding up fwd while the boat goes fast. Bigger possibility of passengers getting ejected. I have seen people going up and over the windshield when a nimrod goes over a big wave too fast. Bow rises and falls to a greater degree than the rest of the boat.

Ahh so its not a boat quality issue its a moron issue? How is that the manufacturers problem? Thats a huge leap imo. No different than suing paint manufacturers for people who sniff paint. Use incorrectly and liability is on you, not the people who made the products.

Inherently dangerous. Manufacturer has to admit that it is a potentially dangerous product. Like selling a boat that does 130 mph. Inherently dangerous. Guns, ciggs, liquor etc. Manufacturers have to have liability ins. and it is very expensive for dangerous products.

The phone number I used to contact Chub Bryant (Stroker Boats) years ago was (865) 983-2482. Not sure if Chub has this number anymore.

No worries! I was flattered that someone thought I had some molds though. Contact Chub about the new Hydrostream molds, I'm pretty sure he has them.

It's a boat design issue in smaller boats, too much weight in front, easy to swamp, blocks driver vision, etc. Bowriders are just bad design.
