Merry Christmas... Simple question.. 1969 Fiberglass 14 " vhull
1969 Fiberglass 14 ' vhull
There is a 6 x 14 bubble in the fiberglass floor. There is a thin layer of fiberglass on top with solid wood below.
Do I just grind it out and replace with resin/hardner and fiberglass strands. Then sand it. Or do I just fill the bubble with epoxy by making a few holes in the bubble and pouring expoxy in. Then place a heavy weight on top with plastic.
There are no other bubbles. There was an inch hole. I could see the plywood. There it looked good and the floor is strong or hard all over. What would you suggest?

Sounds like you can make a simple repair by just cutting the section out and epoxying it in with some 1.5oz glass. If you can, post some pictures
