Picked this up today for a project. Is it a 1962 or 1963? Started going through it a little before the weather turned. Starter is bad so I’ll need to secure one if anybody knows the best place to get one for this old girl. Tilt works but seals are leaking a little. That’s about far as I’ve got so far. Thanks in advance for any help.

Extra nice condition. Looks to be worth a paint job. I assume this is for the tunnel.

The ignition was updated somewhere along the line then. Which is fine, because the old breaker points are a fortune,

I’d love to have a manual on it. I haven’t looked at the electrical side of things yet besides finding the bad starter and choke solenoid. I have plenty of questions.

As captn said... newer coil and box..... Might be a early one with points still on it one wire to box from Dist.....It's an early one.... still has the Round style lower mount covers. It should have Tiger cast on the block.... 90 cid....If not could be 76 cid 800.... swapped out. Nice find

Thanks.. I’ll look at it a little harder and let you know. Still wondering if I should scoop up this 80hp. Here is a pic.Click image for larger version.

Ya better off with the newer coil and stuff.... The 2 coil type are ok... just gotta be good at setting points.....good for a EMP and THE END OF THE WORLD......The white one may be a 90 cid.... look for Tiger cast name. Old stuff.......we like old. Saving the past.
