It's been a slow couple of days,Waiting for stuff to dry.First the stringer was fit and set in place with Cabosil paste. The today covered with three layers of csm on the face to match, and one 17oz on the rear. This was done in vinylester so the csm would release the fibers and form fit.Click image for larger version.

Well, contrary to popular belief I haven't been on a seven day drunk! It's just been COLD, and what little ambition I have, Ive used to keep warm and plow snow. Anyway, some work has progressed on the boat. Two more stringers are in, and a throttle pad is set. Stringers were set in an epoxy paste then covered with eight and a half oz fabric, another ten oz four inch tape will be set at the floor seam. The throttle pad was fabClick image for larger version.

If you store the boat on a roller trailer, you might benefit from a short keel stringer to keep the bottom from deflecting. Outstanding work on the old girl....

Thanks, but the only way I would even take a free roller trailer,is if it could easily be converted to bunks

A standard trailer with rollers on the keel and bunks at the sides was what I meant. When the keel sits on the rollers it can deform the bottom over time.

Good advice,I dimpled the bottom of a vector that way.My trailer now has the bunks adjusted so when loaded the rollers are 1/4" from touching the pad,but still roll on the bow when loading.

James,That tank is a little small (12 gal) but just can't bring myself to give it up.Want to build a new oval one 18 gal.

Well,I decided the two center stringers take some pretty heavy hits so I'm tabbing them with an extra layer of 4" nine oz biax tape. Then will wrap the whole mess in 8 1/2 oz fabric.Tabbed in the seat box today as well.Click image for larger version.
