Las Vegas trip
Planning a trip to Las Vegas late February. Have accommodations for weekend but arriving on Monday prior and have 3-4 days to kick around. Thought about staying in Laughlin a couple of nights. Looked at Casino/hotels and ratings were not great. Looking for some input. Just going to base a couple of day trips out of there before heading to Vegas. Any help appreciated.

You could head to Las Vegas Speedway and drive a race car or super car.

You could do some indoor skydiving.

Will be there for the NASCAR Race weekend. Was really wondering about quality of accommodations in Laughlin. Was looking at The Aquarius?? I know folks on here go out to boat races and figured there would be some must see places or must visit restaurants/bars. Wanted to go down to Lake Havasu City one day and the Mojave one day and Laughlin is pretty convenient to both.

Oh I see all I can tell you is I hear it is a nice place. My dad has been there and I have a step brother that lived in LV for over 10 years. They tell me it's a nice place. That's the limit of my knowledge on it.

I rented a Dodge Viper for a few days, and drove down to Lake Havasu, enjoyed dinner off the London Bridge, and stayed at a little resort right there. Even rented a boat, and explored all the light houses down the Colorado river!

Floridian here who has visited Laughlin on a couple of different occasions. Stayed at the Aquarius both times in a "Majestic Suite" which is on the river side of the building with a great view of the Bullhead City Home Depot. Make sure to get breakfast at Bumbleberry Flats in the Pioneer. Pet the skunks on the Riverwalk. We did the London Jet to Havasu, which is a fun way to get there. You board the London Jet next door at the Edgewater...try to sit in the front row. If you were to stay at Harrah's and were to jump on the Jet there, the boat will be full from the Edgewater bunch. If you head to Havasu by car, take the time to visit the burros in Oatman, AZ.
Compared to the Vegas Strip, Laughlin will be a bit underwhelming. But we enjoyed our stay there and exploring that area. Have a great trip!!
