Is that where the top bolts for the motors are bolted?

They are just covers.... Probly he had a giggle bout it....Might have fooled some would be fast boaters.......Might have known how to build em....Who knows ... but back off .....Neat boat....

R u 100 percent positive they are the same motors with different cowls?

Shoulda run 2 140’s with one V6 cowl. A 235 and an 88 SPL “kicker!”
