    Need prop help

Hey all, i need help from the prop gods. I have a 2020 actioncraft flats boat with a 225 efi on a bobs 6 jackplate. I have a mirage plus 19p 3 blade, pushes the boat 56mph @5700rpm but thats with the jack plate burried and the motor against the transom, i can get 59.5mph if i leave the jack plate down and trim up the motor just a little but im above 6k rpms.

I tried a regular 21p yamaha prop from a friend. And had the same results. Prop had very little cupping. Prop blows out very easy

I got my hands on a Mark Croxton Razor3 23p, that prop allowed me to run with the jack plate all the way up and give the motor some trim which i need when im running the flats. BUT!!!, i lost 10mph and 4900rpms is all i can get from the motor. This prop does shoot a beautiful rooster tail tho haha

I would suggest a 20" or 22" pitch Trophy - one of my favorite "general purpose" props. They deliver great holeshots (good for getting up quick in shallow water), they really hold the bow at elevated heights (needs less trim angle), and they convert rotation to forward speed very effectively. I've run them on Johnsons, Mercurys, and both performed within a few mph of their 3 blade competitors. Fast and durable - Gordon

Is the croxten prop a over the hub prop or thru hub? Do u have low water pickup and what is ur propshaft to pad where u normally like to run it?

It has a tourq flo hub if thats what your asking. Prop is also 3/4 inch smaller in diameter then my mirage plus. I havent been able to find a sweet spot on engine height because i cant raise it with the 19. I can bring the jack plate all the way up and trim the motor some and still struggle to get above 5000rpms with the croxten. No low water but i maintain waterpreassuer with the jackplate all the way up with some trim. I feel like i shouldnt have a problem spinning this prop but forsometreason it does

Overhub or thru means - exhaust travel thru center of prop or does it travel around the center of prop. Over hub will have a small diameter center hub vs thru hub will have a large center with a barrel shape

Both of these are through-hubs as in the exhaust going through their hubs. How much does your boat weigh?
