Whichever way you go with a spray in/roll on bedliner, pay close attention to (A) where the rubber bumpers meet the tailgate above the latch and (B) bed bolts re-torqued properly. We have a huge issue with aftermarket spray in installers (and some home DIY'ers) coating the tailgate too thick at the rubber bumper (stopper) and causing interference, as well as loose bed bolts (removed for liner install then re-installed) causing squeaks and rattles. The Ford factory spray in is excellent as well, but truck would have had to have been ordered with it...

I'm only 400 miles south... near ZIP 15632. Not sure if selling my TBSS yet until spring because wife wants to keep it as if something happens. That said the TBSS just turned 50K miles and in garage until spring. Just message me in a few months. It's all stock except Borla cat back, trans cooler, upgraded stereo...

Line-X is #1, Rhino a distant 2nd, all others need not apply IMO. I have had better luck with Herculiner roll in than any of the ither aftermarket spray in’s but it’s no match for the Line-X or Rhino. Rhino is #2 because it’s so damn rubbery it’s hard to move stuff around. You literally have to pick stuff up because it’s so sticky! Good for keeping stuff from sliding around but cargo should be secured IMO!

If you DIY surface prep is key! Minimum of 36 grit, the paint really needs to go! Got to give something for the liner to bite into! Also take off the access panel on the tailgate and space it up with something. mask the bolt heads and leave them loose so you can line under the heads. Same with the bed bolts! It’s really a PITA and better to pay someone else to do it I think. Especially in a new truck. One kit of Herculiner MIGHT cover the super short bed, It’s not enough for adequate coverage in a regular short bed. I did the back of a Ramcharger once and it needed 2 kits so I’d probably go ahead and get 2 and take one back if you don’t need it.

I've yet to see a DIY bed liner worth doing on an old use truck, let alone a brand new one. Line-X is top product and well worth ponying the coin for, especially for a Ford aluma box which are not super strong anyways. The Line-X adds an almost core like bonus to the bed as well as incredible adhesion

For the bed cover on my newest ferd f150, I went with a lazer lite alum cover. Real nice and water tight. Very secure. Carpeted under side for some insulation. Got the bed carpet kit also. Best I have ever had.

Im using a BakFlip F1, meh. Its ok but the quality isn't where I would like it to be. I had the G2 before and really enjoy the multiple fold feature of these covers but the G2 dented way too easily on the panels and quickly looked bad so I stepped to the F1 which has fiberglass instead which dont dent, but have badly sun faded and swole with water and not lasted very well considering this price. Plus each flip is quite heavy, my wife hates it and even I find it too heavy to fold. I had a one piece fiberglass flip up on my older truck but that doesnt work for me because it makes the bed a trunk and I cant easily remove it. The BakFlip shines in this area because it folds right up to the cab and leaves the box completely open. I'd still like to see improvements for box covers though. The lazerlite looks saweeet, i must say.

I had flip back, roll up and solid fiberglass ones. This alum one is the cats azz. Prob last forever. Very low profile which is what I wanted the most.Don't even notice it is on the truck. Very high quality.

Drove the twin turbo eco boost. Amazing engine, 500+ lb ft iirc makes that f150 move. Didn’t tow with it but I could see it working.

But your our not gonna be cugging up the ramp at 1000 rpm like a 6.2 gm.

    No no replacement for displacement

ram 3.0 fiat diesel is just a dead choice dad went and got a hemi he was done with the eco diesel. Never got the mileage and didn’t tow well.

Cant beat a truxedo for a cover.
