It's interesting you didn't put at a keel down the center....will the floor be stiff enough for the seat/s?

There was no keel originally. There was a seat box across the boat where 5he seat mounted. Plan to do that again

Is that some sort of graphite coating brushed on the hull? Damage from screws too close to the skin? Foam under the floor or just in front of the bulkhead? Looking good Tom

Screws through from the inside many years ago. Foam ONLY up front nothing under the floor. Looks like some speed coat was brushed on from a long time ago.

All Holes THROUGH the transom ( ones used for laminating the new transom in place) plugged with dowels and glassed over. Two bottom punctures from inside screws ground out and patched with 3 layers of weave.

How do you spell fun ?????

I know what "fun" your talking about. I have a new issue since I started my latest restore...I tore my shoulder up and need a shoulder replacement. Went past the normal rotator cuff tear fix and straight to replacement. Gonna work thru it for a few years with physical therapy and revisit replacement later

Looks like someone has taken the hook out of it....what do you think was mounted at the outer edges of the floor that caused your puncture cracks?

According to the original owner he was at the factory when thi swas built and it was built with a slight rocker in it, light layup specifically for racing. No clue what the punctures are from.

Looks good Tom, all the sanding on the very back edges is why I thought they sanded the hook out....paint or Gelcoat?
