I dont have pics but added cup towards the tips of the blade always helps....could have a shop add rake to the blades also. Oh and cutting the flare off the end of the barrel had been known to help bow lift also

I have heard about the flare cut bu I am afraid to do it because the slip is already high at cruising speed

Cup and a sharp trailing edge are important to keeping slip under control...also Mirage props typically don't like to be surfaced

My prop shaft is 5.25-5.5" under the bottom, its not so high for go fast boat but in 3100lbs inboard cuddy cabin like my old chris craft it is bit high for 3 blade. I just want to add some cup to the mirage and give it a try because I have to repair it anyvway. I also have revolution 4 20" and bravo 1 22". It is winter in Finland right now so have to wait till next Summer to test 4 blades. Im just afraid that prop shaft as deep as mine i will loose too much top end with 4 blade.

Are used to run the cup on my choppers almost around to the leading edge . You had to visualize how the water runs off the blade and not have the blade cuts through the water. Worked well for ski racing.

Ive heard people put lipstick or something similar on the blades then run the prop...the part if the blade doing all the work will be clean. Then they cut and mod the prop from there. I think thats how a lot of cut choppers came to be. Never tried it myself but would be interesting.

Closing up any pvs to just what you need when running below can also reduce slip and add lift. They will still vent some and soften the up swing reducing lift. Will also correct the lean if you have it and run on plane at less rpm.
The four blade might slow you but due to stern lift mainly.
I imagine your your looking for pioltability. More cup typically improves mid range performance but steals rpm and maximum top end.

Stock mirage plus works great at higher speeds put creates poor bow lift at cruising speeds, because it cant handle much positive trim before blow out.
