I tried asking a racer of his top end speed with the 300XS but he wouldn't say

Four years ago, picked up a couple mph, much more dependable, the boats are more fun to drive with the additional torque "feel more like an inboard where you can use the power and don't just keep them wound up in a tiny rpm window". It will be another advancement of even more spread when they go to the next generation with the 300R. Top speed depends on the set up -race form with 31s they are running in the low teens.

Noli that was a cool Pic taken at Cocoa this year. Scott Porta was on the Throttles that weekend as Lindsey was graduating College. We’ve been working hard to find some more speed in the boat and it should be running good in Sarasota !!

Hi Noli, the family took a realistic approach and with Lindsey beginning veterinary school, they decided to sell the boat and let her focus on her school work. She will miss Fort Myers because she is in South Africa studying Big Animal care and begins her course work here in the states upon her return. With the advancement in hull designs and an as yet unannounced new hull designs in the works, they decided to sell this and see what’s available in 6 years when she is done with her studies.
They were just getting comfortable in the boat and with Scott Porta’s mentor ship and dialing in, the boat was getting competitive!!! Whoever buys this will certainly get a turn key boat that will be a contender in short order !!! As for Lindsey and the DeNooyer family, I’m sure they will be back in the sport as soon as her schedule allows !!!!

I wish Tom D. had interest in racing but like Dave said, someone will get a nice rig that is turn key.

Six years is a long time to wait to race again

I send them good wishes and certainly their decision is wuts best

How about getting someone else to race with Mr Denooyer , having fun racing and wait for the daughter to finish

After vet school there could be other requirements to practice and may not be back in the boat

I would continue to race or buy a faster boat like the new dw32 vented steps
