    Tach Fluctuation

    I have 260 with brand new Livorsi tach and it fluctuates 200-300 rpms when I'm running. Can anyone give me an idea what might cause this?

    I agree, start with rectifier and also check your ring terminal on grey wire. Just had one that was broken but held in place by shield.

    Switch it to the other side of the rectifier.

    If it the problem goes away, you know that one side of the rectifier is bad. Then replace rectifier.
