    Electric boat repower

    Had to shuffle around 5500 pounds of batteries today to repower an electric boat......... AGM 8D's, 17 out, 17 in......

    that there is definatly some heft, what kind of boat? I always dreaded having to lower them from the deck of my 38' chris craft down to the bottom of the bilge area, any more pics?

    30' Duffy electric boat, 8 of them are under the deck in the salon with a hole only big enough to get one out... There's a rope tied to the furthest one and you pull one battery out at a time and pull on the rope to expose the next battery etc.... your'e initially u\pulling on 1000 pounds of batteries to get the next one exposed and hope they didn't glue themselves to the hull. Six more up front with a hole the same size but a small amount easier to deal with then one under the helm and one under the passenger side seat.
