Divinycell works. H-60 or H-80. Remember, its more about the glass. Make seat boxes from it too if needed. Use small aluminum backing plates to through-bolt anything. PyHi type access holes strategically located for through-bolting & reaching in to glass.

Tomorrow I knock some edges off here and there and start measuring up for DiviniCell for floor supports, transom knees, new floor.

Sheet aluminum works great for floors to. I put flipping decks on a lot of Jon boats with old street signs, light and never rots.strong with proper bracing.

Don't wait for me..... It's somewhere in one of my 2 1000 foot barns or in the yard some were.....There was a guy that had a G3 with stream bottom and 150 Merc. Think of it as cutting up a G3.......I was Beating a V4 rude case apart one day....Don't ask why....Ok I will tell....The 2 long studs were stuck.... The prop shaft Broke.... like glass. High tenseil I guess. They use small prop/ pitch cause they have 20/23 ratio. gears. You are doing a big job on that boat.

Foam is soooo much nicer to work with than plywood. I won't use wood anywhere in anything I build and haven't since the 80's.....I got spoiled real quick when foam got easier to find. Your old boat will be better than new...

I'm going to gusset the side gunnels to the new transom and reduce the transom width by 2 feet. Should make quite a difference.
