Hey Capt, do you have a good idea of how many mph the weight balancing bought you?
I made a few too many changes at once and it worked. The weight shift seemed the most notable.

A 20 foot V bottom Stream is faster than all the others, also easier to drive.

I've said it before the day I bought my new 18ft Viking 1978 I knew I made a mistake, the next year I had a new 1979 20ft Venus and won a 28-mile marathon around

Grand Island NY, I kept my foot in it over some 3 ft rollers, I would have sunk an 18 ft Viking. I was not the fastest boat that day, But I was the fastest boat still

    running at the finish

Pontoon and snow sounds about as good as 150 days over 90 broke new records. Enough is enough.

The red tide this year since january has made the bays and inter-coastal water ways look like coffee. That and the dead fish smell are awful this year. No swim advisories all summer along on our beaches due to high levels of bacteria made this summer a no boating year. Hopefully the red tide will clear now that OUR FLORIDA boating season is starting
