Mike, I have seen the posts related to the med bills your are facing. I went through similar issues a few years back with my daughter. A few things I learned was, yes, most providers will leave you alone if you agree to what you can pay per month and stick to it. If you have any insurance coverage the raw costs have probable been covered and what you are being billed is the "profit". Also, check the write-off threshold with the providers that you have multiple bills from. Our children's hospital would not bill less than $10. Doesn't sound like much unless you have multiple bills from the same hospital or medical group and it can add up. Normally I would look down on this as "playing the system" but this system has already played you so fair is fair.
Again, best wishes to you, Megan, and your family. You deserve a great 2019!18 Talon/2.4 carb SOLD

First Happy New Year and I hope everyone had as wonderful, but quiet Christmas as we did. Megan update as of a couple days ago we got rid of her hospital bed as she now only goes to bed to sleep. She for the past week has been doing an excellent job of eating solid food. Beside the healthy stuff we make her eat she has had grilled cheese sandwich, pizza, chicken nuggets, perogies, mac and cheese and PB&J. This is a very important step in getting rid of her feeding tube. She has to go 6 weeks eating solid food before they will remove it. She is now using the bathroom on her on, a big thing for a young lady.. Today we start out patient therapy at a Neuro clinic close to home. If she does well there today maybe we will stop at Taco Bell on the way home
Again thank you all for the well wishes and support for our girl.
