The POWER of perspective
Fulton NY Miller brewery closed some 20 odd years ago and I can recall watching the news as the workers left the plant on the final day and the reporter was asking them their thoughts on the closing and two women distinctly come to mind and they both share powerful yet uniquely different perspectives on how they saw their time working at the plant.
Woman one said something like:
"I gave that company the best 20 years of my life and this is the thanks I get tossed out to the wolves I got bills etc etc etc"
Woman two said:
"I can't thank Miller enough for the fantastic opportunity to work at this plant. I met my husband here, bought a home and started a family all while working for Miller and I couldn't be happier to have had this work and I look forward to the next opportunity somewhere else and hope its as good as this was"
Same reality for both, but the perspective each chose, is a lesson on how to live life the best you can. Thought it worth the post thanks CUDAHydrostream dreamin

Good point, one grateful the other entitled.
Reminds me of the time someone asked me how I could be in a good mood after what happened to me with Lyme disease leaving me disabled.
I told them, well you can sit and moan or you can look at it as a chance to be a positive influence to others. It's not like someone plotted against me for me to get Lyme disease, it just happened.
I never thought it would end up how it did but that is life. Best way to look at it is, it can always be worse. I have a roof over my head, cloths on my back, food in my belly and a vehicle to drive. I can still walk even though it hurts, I can still see, hear and speak. There are people that don't have all those things and some who don't have any of that. Those are the ones we pray for and try to help.Last edited by CDave; 10-05-2018 at 10:52 AM.

This is sad but true: Most people either wake up in a good mood or they wake up in a bad mood. I'm fortunate. No matter what life has thrown at me in my 60 years I've taken it and pushed through with very little help. I wake up in a good mood. I enjoy life.
Those who are predisposed to a bad mood only see gray skies, trouble, problems, and hurdles. What really sucks is when you connect with a woman like this. I ended that one quickly.
I agree. Perspective is everything.\\\/// \\\/// \\\/// \\\/// \\\/// \\\/// \\\/// \\\/// \\\/// \\\/// \\\/// \\\/// \\\/// \\\/// \\\/// \\\/// \\\/// \\\/// \\\///
