Why do the direction signals on most BMW's don't work?

I love pumpkin pie and that part of the four stroke may be true. On the other hand if you're not trolling are they better??? Even trolling, Etec or Opti are damn good.

Harbor freight........ My stupid, cheap azz self tried to no avail, to properly flair a brake line on the old lady's ride for way too long. Embarrassingly way too long with Harbor freight's tool. For me, no amount of chamfering, inside, outside, or however could get me where I needed to go. Sanded smooth, deburred, lubricated, didn't matter. Wouldn't work.
Having to do a couple long runs from the firewall junction block (abs car) to rear brake hoses (both rears) cobbling together numerous parts store premade lines and junctions were not an option for me.
Called around, and next town over shop had the badboy hydraulic flaring tool, and would hook me right up! Asked to let watch, tech didn't mind, so proceeded to let the flaring begin! When done, tech handed me my lines back and they didn't look too hot. Shoulder of one flair had a lump protruding from it and two others looked as if they were off- centered a bit. I was assured the would be fine.........YEAH...RIGHT!?!?!?
Sure as sheet, lines installed, tried to bleed, and SURPRISE.... 1 leaked badly, and 2 others "weeped" No amount of gently tightening and retightening would seat these sumbitches.
Totally frustrated, I had to bite the bullet and pick me up one of the finest inventions ever. My very own unadulterated, unused, unabused hydraulic flaring tool! Let me tell you, after a couple practice flares I marched out to the car and busted out 4 beautiful leak free flares! Well worth the price of admission plus 53 bucks priority overnight with FedEx. No more playing taxi driver for me!
Money well spent!!!!! And this coming from the cheapazz Mo-Fo who also pulled one caliper to torch out the bleeder, and the other to repair caliper via a repair kit. ( calipers were @ 80 bucks each remanned )Click image for larger version.
