Very sorry to miss some of the OFF gang at Lake-X but Margo and I were busy registering boats and placing them in the pits at Tavares. All the stories I heard were very up-beat about the time at Lake-X. My friend from MN, Dave Quale, went over and Billy signed his hat which now hangs in Dave's office next to his Seebold sign. See Y'all next November and would love to have you drop by Tavares in March (15th - 17th) for the FVRC's V&H regatta. This time with the whole gang, meaning the inboards. Crane and Ramp launch in March. HaPpY ThAnKsGivInG to all

I appreciate your comments.....there probably weren't many of the OFF guys that knew this November Vintage regatta was hosted by a brand new APBA Club - the Florida Vintage Raceboat Club (FVRC). Most know that the Clubs put on the races and APBA sanctions them. As such we raised enough money to get started this November and will continue to host the March event in 2019 with a crane and ramp launch regatta. The FVRC website will soon be online (www.fvrc.club), but for now we are present on Facebook. We just topped 100 members, so are really pleased. We ALWAYS are looking for volunteers and new members. Check out the FB page or contact me and you will get a PDF file you can email or snail mail back to the Club. We'll keep you busy and involved. Regards

Thanks Rodger, I do not participate in facebook or other social media sites because of security reasons, with that being said I will be your conduit to the SNF nation ,,, would that help? that is a fantastic location for our sport, want to help any way I can. Fun Out

Mr. Fun, Understand not participating on FB or other social media. Got off FB once and decided to get back on (probably a stupid choice if you want security or some sense of privacy). The FVRC would definitely appreciate any help with our communication here on S&F. BTW, T2x is our communication guru, so watch his posts. I'll pipe in too. Thanks - Roger

I understand Rich is pecking away, but I would estimate 80+ of people who sign on and peruse these pages go directly to the general boating thread and probably never leave to another subject and were never were made aware of the last event. maby I missed it as I've not been on here but about 2 times a week dealing with family issues. Fun Out
