Does anyone have a manual? What do I do to winterize my 200XS. It's going in the garage next weekend.

use stablizer thru the fuel system. bleed the hi pressure fuel pump. then they say to add about 1 oz of premium+ oil to each cyclinder. i by pass the oil in each cyc. its too hard to get the plugs out. i use some oil stablizer in the gas. so far its worked since 2004.

Optis like to have the fuel pumps buzzed occasionally as they sit. Simple turn of the key switch. Don't crank the motor. I give mine extra shots of oil with the ddt in addition to the use of 100% fuel with Aces in the system.

Once a month is fine. I use mine during the winter but I have 2-3 motors all the time sitting on stands. I have an ignition harness and battery I hook to them and buzz the pumps. Learned the hard way. Bought a 2003 250XS that had been sitting with stale gas for several years and the low pressure pump was bad. The "new" 200XS that sold a while back had the same problem.

extra shots of oil with the ddt? what is the ddt?
Normally I put the battery in the cottage so it won't freeze over the winter. Do you think I should leave the battery in the boat, charge the battery once a month, and turn the ignition switch on once a month? What if it's -20? I normally let stuff sit when it's crazy cold.
I only go to the cottage once a month at best in the winter.

David the DDT is the diagnostic tool and it has a feature that you can cycle the oil pump to add some extra start up oil to the crankcase. My motors usually have residual oil left in the intake, crankcase etc. after running them. Enough to get through the winter. The -20 degree weather is a different animal. I have no idea how to treat that.

I'm considering leaving the battery in the boat and buying an intelligent trickle charger to keep it charged. Flat batteries can freeze. Then I can turn on the ignition switch (but not crank the motor over) when I am there and the temperature is not extreme. We get extreme cold but not always. If I do this, my fuel pump will cycle a few times over the winter. Not once a month, but not idle for 6-7 months either.
