Big shout out to Jay Smith. Turned a 30p 7300ish on
a 225pm to hit 100.5mph. Bucket list reached. This man builds a hell of motor!

Glad I fulfilled one of your bucket list items Matt , but instead of an anomaly it’s the norm with the JSRE 225 Pro Max mods ...They also have long longevity, just freshened one from SC that was built in 2005 did some up grade power mods , honed block ,installed new bearings through out, new rings even the original TDR reed valves looked new was cleaned and reused ...

We had another great season in the CDBA Modified Eliminator class with a JSRE-built 300 Drag. Currently, we are the only outboard...after each heat, people come over to our tent and say “I never saw an outboard run like that!” Jay is the man!
